Gov’t Break a Law? Change It

If the United States government breaks a law they merely change it to match their desires, so that they can continue the previously illegal activity under legal pretenses. This is how bad it has gotten in America; the government has decided that it is above the law.

no one is above the law, unless of-cource you are in a Dictatorship. America is quickly constricting the freedoms of its people whom appear to be mostly unaware that their constitutional rights are in danger :(

Many of us sit unaware, and idly by, as our freedoms are ever so subtly taken away from us.

Things are *so* bad in America? Please. When was the last time you were tortured for what you said about the President? When was the last time you were stopped from doing ANYTHING you wanted to do, within reason? You people bitch and moan and complain, and you forget that things like this law should only worry you if you are doing something illegal, like plotting or schemeing against innocent civilians.

Trust me, the people listening couldn’t give two shits about what *you* are talking about to your buddies. As long as you aren’t breaking the law, you have nothing to worry about. You people are making a mountain out of a molehill.

so what if we are, its a mountain that needs to be made. The constitution was written for a reason was it not? So why should the government be allowed to breach it now?

Thank you.

BTW, I got here via another site using your trisexuality theme. It’s brilliant. Excellent job. I’m gonna see if it will work for a site i’m building now.

Frank: Methinks that you need to read this excellent scathing rebuttal to anyone who claims that “if you aren’t doing anything wrong, then you have nothing to hide?” No point in my saying anything else until you read that in its entirety. ;-)

Thanks, kindly, for the props on triSexuality.

OK…

Had the New York times had an OUNCE of concience the information would never had been public in the first place.

The information was leaked to them and is part of a covert, classified process to collect intelligence during a time of war. What the Times did violates the Espionage Act of 1917 of which section 798 states:

“Whoever knowingly and willfully communicates, furnishes, transmits…or publishes …any classified information…concerning the communications intelligence activities of the United States…shall be fined not more than $10,000 or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.”

The New York Times, has knowingly published (TWICE mind you) classified information concerning intelligence activities and has been nothing but SMUG and CRASS about it’s “right” to do so.

The legality of these investigations has YET to be clarified and thus declaring them to be illegal before the verification has been confirmed states that you and those who agree with you, have a policy of “guilty until proven innocent” which falls against the very basis for our US Judicial System.

US Government Break a Law, then change it……

It sounds appalling, and to be honest it is. The US Government has broken laws that forbid any government agency from spying on its own citizens with out a warrant. As it stands the Wight House is nearing an agreement with congress to make Bush’s…
