Crypto Resync Opens

Crypto Resync is a new blog of mine that is entirely dedicated to information systems security, privacy, your rights online and other similar topics. The goal of Crypto Resync is to attempt to help educate the average computer user about information security related matters.

As I wrote in the Crypto Resync opening post, much of my inspiration comes from cryptologist Bruce Schneier.

I was first introduced to the genius that is Bruce many years ago, when I was becoming interested in computer programming. A project I was working on required some encryption so I bought his book Applied Cryptography. It was an immense help then and still is today.

All information security and privacy related posts will be handled at Crypto Resync as opposed to here. The separation of the content will only serve to make both sites stronger in the long run. There is only a nominal amount of additional work required to post at a second site therefore I do not expect to run in to issues posting fresh content on either sites.

If you have some time then please head on over to Crypto Resync and read the launch post. You will even learn about the origin of the name and a very concise so-called mission statement. I am interested in any, and all, feedback, so please do not hold back (good, bad, otherwise).

Good luck, the site looks good…nice minimalism.

Ah, I’d keep up with your new site, Scott, but I fear those are the very areas (advanced information systems security) of the computer that my brain begins to go all jelly-like, so I’ll have to sit this one out. XD I wish you the best of luck with it, though! :)
