Interesting stats…and trends.
OK, my input. The whole 1024 width isn’t surprising really. One reason for this will be the increase of widescreen laptops. I recently brought a new lappy and I’ve got it on 1240×800 I think. Anyway, with that resolution there’s just so much wasted space with the 800 wide layouts.
What else was there… the light on dark thing. I think a few people have done it really well and it’s inspired other people to try it (some good examples are here, here and here). I do like light on dark sites. I find them easier to read and that colours have more oomph.
