StarForce threatens to sue Boing Boing for criticizing its products after Cory wrote about how harmful their technology is and how it restricts the rights of law-abiding game-purchasing customers. The “funniest” part of this is that the individual responsible for making the threat is their PR Manager. Well, maybe the part where he says he is contacting the FBI because the free-speech induced criticizing is considered “harrassment” is slightly more humorous.

Court says ID checks at airports constitutional and that the airlines, and the U.S government, have the right to keep passengers from boarding planes if they refuse to show personal identification. What upsets me the most about this ruling is that the court completely ignored the issue of the “secret law” that the TSA stated it was abiding by, which in term means that the government can enact secret laws and then does not have to show these laws to its very own citizens. Watch as your freedoms continue to erode, while most American run around the country completely ignorant to what is truly happening to us.
