I am going to be making some major modifications to the site over the course of the next 36 hours. With a new year will come a new design and a fresh start for the site. Lightbox JS is a small javascript library that allows for full size images to be overlayed in a browser window rather than using popups. Very elegant technique and one that I might actually consider making use of.
