green[alien]probe | yellow[alien]probedAfter months of speculation and amassing , the dAmn Army has finally been selected. Those that have joined are now undergoing basic training in preparation of their assignment at deviantART.
This is not an official statement because the official launch will be in the form of a news article. However, the following deviants have been selected to fulfill the various undefined dAmn Army roles:
`alphakx
*bananasontoast
*crazyleafhead
`damphyr
`fangedfem
*omniomi
*radioPooh
~Secretlondon
*zerocomplex
Please welcome the newest additions to the deviantART family even if they are going to be on the frontlines of the “war” that we are waging. I would like to personally take this moment to welcome `alphakx back to the house; for those who are unfamiliar with Brian, he used to be a Gallery Directory but has since transitioned to the dAmn Army.
As time passes more information will be released. Until then these recruits have a lot of work and training to go through, prior to their being placed in harms way!
Congrats to everyone; on behalf of the Community Development team, we are all looking forward to working with each and every one of the new recruits.[s]…
Mastermind of the 9/11 attacks on US soil, Osama Bin Laden has returned with a brand new video threatening more violence against Americans.
GWB claims that he will do better at fighting the “war” against terrorism yet somehow Bin Laden is still alive and uncaptured, unfettered from pushing forward with the Al Queda jihad. Quite a contradiction methinks!
William Gibson has a beautifully written blog entry about Bin Ladens return to the limelight.
Eminem has a new video out for a song on his forthcoming album “Encore.” This time, rather than being playful, he takes the lyrics to a new level by directing his dislike for George W. Bush.
Mosh could well be one of the most overtly political pop music videos ever produced, and is easily the most direct anti-Bush cultural statement since Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11. Although the video debuted just a week before the election, it could have an unprecedented cultural and political impact, coming from the top-grossing rap star in America, and one of the seminal pop icons of the last decade.
I have always been a “fan” of Eminem’s music. It is far more refreshing than most other rap out there and I find satisfaction in much of his critical lyrics. Mosh is a great video and even better song that comes up, possibly, too late to make a difference in this years election. I do, however, applaud Eminem for such a splendid effort because he does have the power to affect change within the younger generation who look up to him as an artist.
The video is available all across the Internet as a free download. Take a peek at iFilm, GNN or MTV. Read an eloquent review of the song and video.
