Depeche Mode are about to release a reconstructed best of covering their entire career and one of the songs has been remixed by electrofunk groovemeister Timo Maas.
The album will be called Depeche Mode Remixes 81-04 and will be released on October 24th.
Remixes comes from the likes of DJ Shadow, Air, Timo Maas, William Orbit, Mike Shinada ( Linkin Park ) Colder and Goldfrapp. Alison Goldfrapp says “Depeche Mode are the only electronic band to have risen above their own genre and it was a privilege to have worked on such a great track”.

Famished from a rough morning at work we set out to eat some pasta at world famous Ducky Duck. One trip to the salad bar, a bowl of spaghetti and a drink for under $10! You can not beat that around these parts!
Overall, a decent meal that is well worth its price. This shot is of the salad I grabbed from the salad bar. You can see a lot of edamame, pumpkin, pumpkin salad, lettuce and a nice little tomato.

Was merely playing around with my Sony Ericsson W21S and the various image editing features it offers for photographs taken with the camera that accompanies the phone.
This was taken while on our recent Lake Saiko camping trip after taking a nice hot bath in a warm, relaxing onsen. Having nothing to do but drink some beer and await the girls to finish themselves I decided to play around with the camera a bit.
Not quite the Nikon D70 that I am looking at but nonetheless some worthwhile fun!

There have been some very interesting entries and I want to thank those that have participated for their hard work. I have, at this juncture, essentially narrowed the submissions down to two possible winners.
… but I want to ensure that everyone that was interested in participating gets their chance to do so. With that said I will wait a couple more days before announcing the winner. If someone finishes a design within that time and posts the link to their site here on this entry then I will consider it.
On the same token, if you have an exising entry and desire to tweak it then please do so. If you are looking for feedback then post a comment here and let me know so that I can offer thoughts.
So, unless something new and invigorating arrives within the next day or so then I will select one of the two finalists to win the grand prize.

Today we returned from a small three-day trip to Lake Saiko for a camping getaway.
We got lucky and had the best spot of them all: the only one that was ist 15 feet from the water!
This time around Jimmy and Mari came with us, which is why there is two tents rather than one. We ended up drinking a lot each night and having a blast sight-seeing during the one full day that we were up in the area.
We all had a blast but it is now time to relax after all that fresh air!
Jimmy and Mari accompanied me and my family up to the Fuji 5 Lakes area where we stayed at Lake Saiko. On Saturday, after eating a huge breakfast, we headed about 50m down the road to a Hot Springs and got butt ass naked in some extremely warm water.
There is nothing better than downing a can of ice cold beer after getting out of the hot, refreshing, water!
