Updated some of the code at yellow [alien]probed in an attempt to make comment reply posting more intelligent. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Each and every day I am continually amazed at what some people are incapable of grasping. This is not limited to deviantART however I write this after witnessing more stupidity and ignorance from some deviants who either have this desire to be melodramatic or are actual idiots and plain stupid.
Let me see if I can attempt to clarify some issues for the stupid and intelligence-challenged.
Rumor: The search engine is only for subscribers.
Reality: The search engine has been temporarily disabled for all but subscribers due to the high amount of pressure it adds to the site. When we can optimize it to the point that it does not affect everyone’s experience at deviantART then it will be made available to everyone once again.
Rumor: All comments, messages and notes will be deleted if one is not a subscriber.
Reality: Notes and messages are the most widely used aspect of deviantART and because of this the amount that resides in the database is huge. In order to speed deviantART up even more, and make the site as efficient as possible, we have implemented a policy that will “house-clean” this area. If you are not a subscriber then you must move all notes that you desire to keep in to a subfolder within notes. Simply go to My Notes -> Manage Folders to create a new folder. Then return to My Notes and move all the notes you would like to keep in to the folder that you just created.
Rumor: deviantART does not like anime or anthro.
Reality: You are an idiot or stupid if you believe that and have not bothered to read the countless other journal entries written on behalf of that subject.
Rumor: deviantART will ultimately be only for subscribers.
Reality: deviantART will always be free. At this point in time we need to entice more subscribers so in order to do so we are adding more subscriber-only features in order to make subscriptions more attractive.
Rumor: The administration makes huge amounts of money off of deviantART and is able to live an extravagant lifestyle because of it.
Reality: This could not be farther from the truth. deviantART makes enough money to keep the site afloat. We are continually reinvesting revenue in to new hardware for the site in order to keep things speedy and working properly. There are certain people who like to spread rumors about our financial situation, based on incomplete observations and through incorrect fact gathering methodologies, for reasons unknown to us.
Anyhow, do you really think that I would continue working my day job if I was living such a lavish lifestyle thanks to deviantART? Unless you hear it from either myself or $spyed regarding our financial situation, or via a news article, then it is false.

Even more new journal features being tested here. The first is the fact that journals are now full-width for everyone . The following thumbnailing feature, undergoing testing, will be only available to subscribers.
fj34r my wicked digital camcorder that I picked up for the wife for Christmas - Sony DCR-TRV22. This baby rocks hardcore. Takes great night shots (good for shooting home made anal probing), has nifty effects and comes with a wicked lens.
Gotta love the full-width journals coupled with nested commenting. Sure makes following conversations far easier.
Anyhow, wait for a boatload of new features to be added for subscribers here in the next coupla days….

Overall had a nice birthday. Slept from the time I got home from work, which was 7:30am, until about 2pm. Woke up, took a shower and screwed around on deviantART for a bit and then went to eat dinner at Red Lobster. My wife gave me this wicked ass necklace and pendant that I had been wanting.
After dinner I dropped my wife and son off at home and then came to work. Tonight is my last 7p - 7a shift!
