According to this article experts warn that placing ice cubes in the rectum of those suspected of having overdosed may lead to seizures and strokes. There is no apparent physiological benefit to placing an ice cube in ones rectum in an attempt to revive them from a possible drug overdose.
Now, I have to ask; who in Hell’s creation would think of placing an ice cube in ones rectum in order to wake them from a drug induced sleep? First of all, I would not plan on getting that close to someone who OD’ed much less pulling their pants down, turning them over and then actually sticking the ice cube up the rectum.
