House Update
Well, after all that we went through with the bank they decided that although I am completely qualify for the loan, based on the amount of money I make, they are unable to give us a loan because I do not have a permanent residency visa (an eijuken) for Japan. Since I work for a company that has a contract with the US Navy I am in Japan under the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA). The banks need to have this feeling that someone will be in Japan long enough to pay off the loan and therefore assume that since someone has permanent residency that they will not suddenly jump ship and return back to their home country. It is a screwed up line of thinking but this is Japan.
So, we are in the process of looking at alternate means of obtaining a loan. There are ways around the system, though they take time, so we are researching what are options are at this point.
DAv3
DAv3 is coming along. There is no expected completion date however it will be done before our third birthday. While it might sound neat to launch DAv3 on our third anniversary we intend to launch it much sooner.
Deviator
Deviator is being worked on by a third-party developer whom most of us are familiar with. It is coming along rather nicely. When it is ready for a beta then we shall release it. Until then please realize that it is being worked on and will be developed until a point where it completely complements deviantART.
