the big day

well, today is the big day. at 10am we head to the bank to submit the paperwork for a home loan. will we get it? who knows. should we get it? yes. but, alas, this is japan and sometimes what makes sense does not happen if you are a gaijin. in any event, i feel fairly confident about all of this.

if we succeed in getting the loan then we will have a house built that we, essentially, designed. the floor plan is a design that we came up with; the exterior design is something we came up with. this is pretty much our “dream house,” for as much of a “dream house” one can have in japan considering the cost of land and the cost of building a house.

in any event, today is the big day where our lives may be forever changed…

deviantART writing community

in an attempt to help further the writing community here on deviantART i have changed the name of the poetry forum to writers workshop. hopefully that will cure the forum of the nastiness that took place a few weeks back.

on top of this i have designed a special submission page solely for writers, which can be found here: [link] hopefully this will solve many of the issues with the poetry and prose tier that are taking place today. i need as much feedback on this as possible. merely type in a title and put something in the poetry block and hit preview.
