thanks for all that wished me a happy birthday. much appreciated and much love. i had a nice time out with the family. we went to TGI Fridays and ate up a bunch. all in all it was a nice time. my wife bought me this nifty seiko prospex watch. its all analog but has the current date, a chronograph and an alarm.

…it is now officially the holiday season!…
woke up to go to work this morning and as i walked downstairs, passed the front door, i caught a glimpse of something odd in the windows on the door. decided not to stop and just ignore it, thinkint that it was probably a reflection from the neighbors christmas lights. got cleaned up, dressed, coffee made and then went back upstairs to get a few things and say goodbye to my wife.
as i am in my “office” gathering a few things i need to take to work a car drives by the house. the sound that it makes while passing is quite different from the norm. it is almost as if the car is driving on gravel or something; that is the type of sound that was made. out of sheer curiosity i open the curtains and peer out in to the blackness of just after 5am. i am immediately stunned because rather than being swallowed by the darkness of the early morning hours i am engulfed in a white so bright that i am almost blinded.
between 11pm and 5am we received about 4in of snow. while to many people that is not much it is quite odd for this area. we normally do not get a total of 4in of snow all year much less in one night, especially December.
so here is to hoping that we get our first white christmas! i think it would be alot of fun.
