devart "skinbrowser-like" app

Remeber devartPsycho? For those that do not remember it, it was a small application that I wrote that afforded deviants the ability to “browse” deviantART via an application interface. you could get previews of images and what not.

Well…it is back to being worked on again. This time it will be much more feature rich. Essentially, the next version will include many of the features that were planned for devartPsycho’s later versions (which never made it out of the door).

Hopefully we will have a sneak peek of the app, along with its new name, here soon.

Randomosity

My Fantasy Football team, the Schzophrenic Aliens, are 4-1 and first place my league. Gotta love having Rich Gannon and Charlie Garner on my team. I also have Marshall Faulk but since the Rams suck ass this year he has yet to produce much in the terms of points each week. Hell, I don’t even think he’s had over 50 yards rushing in a game yet!

Bought a new computer desk and moved my main machine downstairs, in to my living room. I used to be online from a room upstairs, away from everyone else, which caused some friction due to the amount of time i need to devote to being online. So I ended up purchasing a new “corner” desk and hooked it up in the living room where we usually hang out. This allows me to be close to the family and still work on the site at the same time. Plus, the desk looks good in the living room!

Going camping this weekend, for the 3 day holiday, to get away and relax. Things at work and, overall, are quite stressful lately.

Mulling around with the thought of recoding deviantART from the ground up. Things are still in the preliminary planning stages. We’ll see. This would not be a design update but, rather, a backend coding update solely.

I dedicate this journal entry to my wife, whom I love with all my heart. While she understands that I am busy with the site, and work, I do feel guilty, at times, for not spending more time with her. So, to you, baby, I you always and forever! …
