HP Photosmart 100
Grabbed this nifty little baby on sale last week. It’s an awesome little printer that is designed solely to print 4×6 images that reside on either CompactFlash, SmartMedia or a Memory Stick. On top of that you can connect it via USB to your computer and use it as a printer for digital art just as if it is a normal printer. What is so special about it? It has wicked photoquality printing! For someone who is looking for an inexpensive way to print their digital photos then I definitely recommend the hp photosmart 100 photo printer.

Blue Moon
Hit Blue Moon again this past weekend albeit without getting another parking ticket! Had a great time, as usual, although I did not take the camera this time. Alas, no freaks like deviot’s girlfriend showed up this time unfortunately.

DA Prints
Received my first batch of 4×6 prints the other day. It was a total of 139 images in all! Some of them came out so good that I am going to have to order larger sizes of them. The main goal of this is to have a mobile display of the prints that are available so I can show anyone, no matter where I am. Just need to purchase some type of notebook with protectors for the pages in order to keep them dirty fingers off the wicked prints!

Mozilla
If you are not using it then you really do not know what you are missing. If you are a web designer then you should design your site and test it on Mozilla, rather than IE, as if it works in Mozilla then it will work in any browser. Standards compliance is what makes this possible!

Believe it or Not
I can not believe this. Last night we finally made it to Blue Moon, our favorite beach bar to hang out at during the summer evenings and nights. It is a great place to cause of the reggae-like atmosphere, the good music and the intriguingly unique live bands that they have show up on the weekends.

I think it was around 8pm that one of the staff at the bar comes up to our table and says that I need to move my car because there is a small bulldozer that need to get by but is being blocked, slightly, by my car as well as another car.

So, being the nice guy that I am, I move my car in order to accomodate this construction worker the ability to drive his bulldozer elsewhere. Once he passes and makes it out of the street I then park in, basically, the same place and then go back in the bar.

It is time to head out because the little monster is passed out cold and its slightly late. So as we walk up to the car what do we see? Turns out that I got yet another parking ticket!

Normally I would not be so upset that I got a parking ticket but this time it is different. The godforsaken decided that they should ticket only my car and nobody elses. So, yet again, here I will have to go down to a policy station and get them to take that crap off of the mirror and then be given a voucher so that I can pay the 15000 yen ($135) parking ticket. This will be the second time this year and twice within the last month.

Movies
Finally saw Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. Personally, despite what many critics have said, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. How can you not like a movie where frail little Yoda goes medieval like that? Think that I am going to go check out MIB-II today. I really want to see Minority Report but it does not open in Japan until December 7!

Mozilla
Use Mozilla, period, the end. Would I lie to you in telling you that it is the best browser on ?

DA Prints
I have a bunch of prints in 4×6 format being shipped to me so as to use as a gallery, or sorts, for showing people on the street and on the go. All I need now are some deviantART business cards and then I’m set!

Conspiracies
I get sick to my stomach everytime some moronic deviant makes it a point to try and push their conspiracy theories on the staff. People seem to forget that we are real people too and have feelings. Merely because we run deviantART does not make us invincible and unharmable either emotionally or pyschically.

Now here I am, trying to do something new for a group of people that have long been silent and this one moronic deviant sends me these diatribe filled notes regarding how there was a conspiracy involved in some decision making that took place. Sometimes our feeling get in the way of the real world and cloud our vision. I believe that is what is happening here in that this deviant was not selected for either the decision making or overall. It really is a shame that some people are incapable of dealing with rejection and attempt to resort to name calling, conspiracy theorizing and just general degrading all in the name of making themselves feel better.

If you fear rejection then do not bother to try new things that might lead you down that path you do dislike.

I wish I could say more but if I do then it will distract from the surprise that is planned.

Mozilla
If you do not use it then you need to start. If you have tried it and found yourself not liking it then I tend to believe that you are too used to IE to even give another browser a chance. Plainly speaking, Mozilla rocks. While the initial application load may be longer than IE (to actually open a mozilla windows -vs- an IE window) the rendering of web pages is far faster in Mozilla. On top of that pages render far better looking. Oh well…evangelism is a tough sell!

FAQ
Read the godforsaken FAQ before wasting valuable time for something that you can have answered on your own!

Prints and Frames
Don’t forget to check out and grab yourself some printed love! Need a frame for that love that just purchased? Hop on over to PictureFrames and purchase one of their wicked sets. Of all the framing I’ve found on the net (and trust me, I looked at everything) these folks seem to offer the best selection, best quality and the most reasonable prices. The frame I received just plain rocks!

Devious Journal Entry

DA Prints continues to do well, considering the fact that there has been zero advertising of the site thus far. We have some major plans to get people to the site to purchase the wicked art that is available so please hang in there.

I really with the PixelPrintz -vs- DA Prints issue would go away. We are not here to compete; DA Prints exists solely because of our love for the community and to create new opportunities for the artists that we love.

Mozilla
If you do not use it then you really owe it to yourself to try it out. It is, by far, the best browser around. On top of that, you just have to love the deviantART Sidebar for mozilla. It rocks!

Email Application
Just spent the entire day migrating my email from Outlook XP to mozilla. Imported old mail, setup accounts, tweaked the interface and more. I am very pleased with the outcome and look forward to using mozilla mail more and more. I cant say enough about it!

FAQ
For god sakes, first read the damn FAQ rather than asking question and making us waste our time. The FAQ is there for a reason so use it. Here is an example of a FAQ related issue that I tackled via email:

Nice response. I thought I was helping you guys. Guess that’s the last time I visit your Web site.

I got a kick out of that and imagine someone else will too.
