bleached hair in full effect. you can view the light wonder in mah latest webcam shot. figured that it was time for a change so i decided to hook0r up the change all myself. was relatively easy, really. just bought some hair bleach from the store, came home, followed the directions and wham…bleached hair. no professional needed. had some touching up to do cause its hard to get the bleach in the shaved areas on the side and back but in the end it came out great.
left the bleach in for only 10 minutes this time rather than the 20-25 from last time. think it came out great this time around. i’m quite pleased with it.
going to try working with some tokyo based art groups that do design work in the local area. will see what i can do with them and what kind of relationships that can be forged as a result.
went to this wicked party up in shibuya on saturday evening. it is run by a friend of mine, justin, who organized the dj’s and whatnot. what was really cool about it was this vj chick that used an apple powerbook to do live graphics while the dj’s were spinning. it was really cool stuff that she did and quite artsy. i was quite impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
wanna thank spyed for all that he is doing behind the scenes at deviantART. we have so many crazy things coming down the pipe in order to generate revenue for the site and to take deviantART to the next level that its just unbelievable. i cant wait to share it with you all.

things are quite busy around deviantART lately. we have been working hard to ensure that the site runs as stable and fast as possible. over the course of the last few weeks there have been many improvements made to the backend which have caused far less issues with downtime. everyone ought to be happy for being able to surf deviantART faster lately!
we have also been working on some very exciting things as well. stay tuned to see what we are up to. i guarantee that it will be liked because it will give everyone that much more potential for exposure of their art. on top of that it will be hella fun!

my tenth anniversary came and went rather excitingly. gave the wife a huge diamond rock as her present. its something that we have been discussing ever since we talked about getting married. she immediately fell in love with the ring once she opened it. the look on her face was priceless and totally worth it.
do not bother to ask how much the ring cost cause i wont say. it was expensive and that is all that you need to know.
what did i get? i bought a new computer for myself. got a nifty athlon xp 1700 with 512mb ram, 80gb hdd, geforce2 mx400 video card and some other goodies. i’m a happy camper!
new icons from stanley will be implemented soonest so hang in there for more fun and excitement here on the deviant channel!

it just so happens to be April 10, 2002 here in japan. while the date on this entry will undoubtedly display the 9th it is, in fact, the 10th for me. this is rather important because the 10th of April in the year 2002 is a very important date in my life.
this date is important because as of today i have been married for ten years. i’ve made it to my second decade of marriage. this is a huge success for both myself and my wife. of all the things that we have been through in the past, of all the trials and tribulations that have taken place over the course of the last ten years, of everything that has happened between us personally we were able to work past it all and remain happily married and together.
having a full time job makes anyone busy enough and tired enough, especially one that is as busy as mine. on top of this i have the top digital art site on the community to adminster (along with the other excellent admins we have on staff) on a daily basis. couple that with the fact that i have an almost eight year old son and one can quickly begin to comprehend how hectic life must be.
so, on this tenth day of april 2002 i would really like to dedicate this journal entry to the love of my life - junko (pronounced june-koh), my wife of the past ten years. baby, we’ve made it through just about everything imagineable and that should be testament enough to our ability to remain together. on those days when you are feeling lonely or down just remember that, no matter what you feel, i will always be inside your heart and by your side.
i love you now and will love you forever. do not ever forget that…
