my ass is officially black and blue after this past weekends snowboarding trip. both cheeks have this huge area that is just completely black and blue, which totally sucks seeing as i sit on my ass so much. i guess that is not too bad considering that the other first time snowboarder buddy of mine that went with us this weekend ended up bruising over 70% of his ribs after he slammed body first into the snow and rammed both of his elbows into his rib cage.
for those that made section icons for the “icon contest” i thank you so much. most people have already been awarded something for their participation. those that have not please hang in there because i do plan to “award” you something. time has been minimal lately therefore i have not had a chance to do a few of the things that are on my todo list.

got back from snowboarding last night and damn was i tired. i had expected snowboarding to take its toll on my body but not quite to this extent. i guess the combination of all the body movement and falling was just too much for my body to endure. by the end of the first day i was pooped, and that was even before the pain from the soreness in the muscles kicked in.
either way, no matter what, i had a blast. this is definitely something that i want to do again and am looking forward to getting the hang of. its now just a matter of when do i go back out there?

going snowboarding this weekend for the first time ever. hopefully i make it out of this alive!
i plan to bring my camera therefore i should have a picture, or 12, of the place that we are going. i am hoping that alcohol will ease the pain of all the falling that will undoubtedly happen due to my n00b status.

got me a new webcam today seeing as my previous freebie was broke. this one cost around $100 and is a great product. i’ve been happy with every logitech purchase that i have ever made and this is no different.
its a logitech quickcam 3000 for those that are interested. takes pictures up to 640×480 resolution.i would be using argus as my webcam application of choice but it seems to not support many of the features i need in a webcam application. currently i’ll stick with conquercam until em gets argus up to snuff. dont get me wrong, its a wickedly wonderful application just that it doesnt do a few things i need it to.
anyhow, now that its running, enjoy the imagery!…
